Job Description
The Material Resource Planner will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of materials required for projects. This role involves working closely with various departments to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize project delays, and support the overall supply chain process.
- Maintain material requirement plans based on project schedules and forecasts.
- Ensure timely communication of lead times and actively follow up to confirm schedules are met, escalating issues as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize material flow.
- Analyze material usage patterns and adjust plans to accommodate changes in demand together with related departments.
- Prepare and present reports on material planning activities and performance metrics with the goal of improving KPIs.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You are analytical and like working with numbers.
- You have a logical approach towards problem solving.
- Proven experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain management.
- Next to Dutch, you can communicate fluently in English (spoken and written).
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office and ERP processes and systems.
- The ability to lead projects or a high interest in developing this skill.
- You have a sense of initiative; you are stress resistant & dynamic.
