Job Description

The Sales Manager for robotics is responsible to develop selling opportunities and convert them into Order Intake. He/she manages the offer creation process commercially, supported by Sales Engineering for the technical design and costing, and guides prospect customers through the buying cycle.He/she is accountable to reach the individual commercial targets and to leverage the regional results.

▪ Representing the full Movu Robotics solution portfolio, including iFollow, E.scala, Atlas 2D and its racking solutions, Warehouse Execution Software and others

▪ Achieving individual commercial targets for all Movu Robotics solutions focusing on set KPIs for order intake volume, profitability, revenue timeline, product mix,…

▪ Supporting peers in the region and globally to do the same by sharing leads, relations and experience

▪ Guiding selling opportunities from lead to order intake:

  • Prospecting and visiting customers
  • Presenting vendor capabilities
  • Qualifying opportunities
  • Replying to tenders, capturing and challenging customer needs to enable value design
  • Drafting solutions, ROMs and customer ROI’s for business case validation
  • Generation of commercial offers, supported with technical content by Sales Engineering
  • Presenting offered solution
  • Organizing and facilitating customer (reference) visits
  • Setting sales strategies for success
  • Negotiating and closing business, supported by the Commercial Director and in line with company targets
  • Ensuring firm proposals are validated by engineering, contracts are approved by legal and commercials are agreed on by commercial management, incl. DOA approvals
  • Acquiring PO’s and handing over the project in full to execution

▪ Selling to end customers as well in cooperation with integrators, in line with company vision and guidance. Working with integrator management and commercial directors on per case approach

▪ Reporting accurately on opportunity pipeline and selling strategies to management

▪ Document storage and version management

▪ Establishing market and competitor understanding to improve competitive design of quoted solutions, and to provide feedback to product management

▪ Supporting of regional marketing initiatives, incl trade shows and events

▪ Developing new leads and selling opportunities within the territory

▪ Managing customer and partner relations, and representing Movu Robotics professionally and in line with the company vision.

▪ Engaging supporting departments including sales engineering, product management, integrator management, legal, marketing,…

▪ Responsible for motivating and ensuring everyone works according to the QSHE standards to ensure that all work is done in a safe, efficient, and qualitative way.

▪ Complies with the goals of Lean and continuous improvements within the company.

▪ Responsible for ensuring that all executed activities and processes are following QSHE standards, policies, instructions, and local legislation.

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial sales management and communication with decision-makers, ideally in intralogistics or comparable sector
  • Sense of responsibility and will to succeed in negotiations
  • Customer-oriented work combined with high self-motivation and hands-on mentality
  • High contact and communication skills as well as a distinctive ability to work in a team
  • Flexibility and high willingness to travel as well as a driver's license
  • Very good knowledge of English
