Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Team lead for one our .NET teams.  
In this role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 5 to 10 talented engineers, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. 
You will be a valuable member of our R&D department, reporting directly to the R&D Director “Offboard Software”. In addition to collaborating closely with your team, you will maintain frequent communication with Product Management, Software Architects and other Team Leads. 

  • Lead a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their professional growth and development. 
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team, identifying opportunities to optimize processes, tools, and workflows. 
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage product backlogs, including defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint planning. 
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project and product requirements, priorities, and drive the implementation of technical solutions. 
  • Promote best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and architectural design, to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code. 
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing insights and guidance on complex technical challenges and decisions. 
  • Lead by example through hands-on contribution to codebase, demonstrating expertise in software development and technical problem-solving. 
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in software development, with 5 years of relevant experience in a leadership position. 
  • You are technically proficient, with an understanding that technology serves as a means for innovative solutions. 
  • You have strong organizational skills and demonstrate attention to detail. You possess the ability to bring structure and establish effective processes and workflows within your own team and across inter-team collaborations. 
  • You have excellent time management and prioritization skills, and you're able to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 
  • You put people first, and you are a great motivator, able to bring out the best in everybody on your team.
